A YouTube random comment picker is a giveaway tool that builds an eligible pool from public video comments and selects winners at random. SpinWheelify lets you review that pool, remove duplicate commenters, apply entry rules, and draw main and reserve winners without signing in to a YouTube account.
The draw is split into three deliberate steps, so you can confirm the source video and entry rules before any winner is selected.
Enter a standard YouTube, youtu.be, Shorts, Live, or embed URL. The picker confirms the video and loads its published top-level comments. Private, unavailable, or comments-disabled videos cannot be used.
Choose whether each commenter gets one entry, exclude the video channel, require a word or phrase, and set a minimum like count. The eligible total updates before you continue.
Set 1–10 main winners and 0–10 reserves, choose the reveal time, then review the totals. The draw starts only when you press Start draw winners; the slot machine reveals the preselected results one at a time.
The animation does not decide the result. Selection and presentation are separate, which keeps the visual reveal from changing who wins.
The server requests published comment threads through YouTube Data API v3 and normalizes only the top-level comment from each thread. Replies and live-chat messages are not added to the pool.
Duplicate handling, channel-owner exclusion, keyword matching, and minimum likes are applied to the loaded data in your browser. The counts shown on the rules screen are the counts used for the draw.
SpinWheelify draws random indices with the browser Crypto API. All main and reserve results are selected before the reel begins, and every selected commenter is removed from the remaining entries for that draw.
Winner cards retain the selected comment, like count, publication date, and a direct YouTube link. You can copy a winner or export the current main and reserve results as CSV.
The picker is intentionally specific about the data it uses. Check these boundaries before publishing your giveaway rules.
Replies are excluded. A reply to another viewer is not an entry, even when it appears under the giveaway video.
A load can stop earlier if it reaches a request, time, or response-size safety limit. When that happens, the page marks the pool as partial before you draw.
With duplicate removal enabled, one commenter gets one entry. With it disabled, each comment is an entry, but the same commenter still cannot take two winner positions in one draw.
The picker does not verify subscriptions, age, country, entry deadlines, or compliance with your official rules. Review the selected comment and entrant before awarding a prize.
A random draw handles selection, not contest administration. Write your rules before entries open and make the loaded-pool limits clear to participants.
SpinWheelify does not ask you to sign in to YouTube or grant channel permissions. Comment data is returned with a no-store response and is used for the current page session. Public comments can be edited or deleted on YouTube, and API or safety limits may produce a partial pool. If a partial warning appears, the draw applies only to the loaded count shown on the page.

No. This picker uses the top-level comment returned for each YouTube comment thread. Replies beneath those comments are not loaded and do not receive entries in the draw.
No. After a commenter is selected, the picker removes every remaining entry with the same channel identity from that draw. When a channel ID is unavailable, the normalized display name is used as the fallback identity.
A single load supports up to 10,000 top-level comments. It may stop earlier after reaching the request, time, or normalized response-size safety budget. The page labels that result as a partial pool.
No. Main and reserve winners are selected with browser crypto-based randomness before the slot-machine reel starts. The animation controls only how and when each already-selected result is revealed.
SpinWheelify does not require a YouTube login or channel authorization. Comment data is used for the current page session, and the comments API response is marked no-store.

No. This tool does not check subscriptions or other private account activity. If subscribing is part of your rules, you must use a method permitted by YouTube and verify the selected entrant yourself.
The URL field accepts Shorts and Live video links when the video is public and published comments are available through the YouTube API. It loads video comments, not messages from the live-chat feed.
